Descripción

In a changing world, knowledge is power.

At BNP Paribas, we understand that choosing a career path can be challenging; there are so many options to choose from. The BNP Paribas Discovery Day has been designed to give you an insight into the world of Corporate and Institutional Banking.

Over the course of the day you will be introduced to two of our key Business areas – Global Markets and Global Banking, as well as learning about Sustainable Finance and how we are supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals through the investment projects we take on, and the clients we work with.

You will participate in a number of interactive workshops, which will help in building skills across a variety of areas that are essential to excel in this fast-paced and ever-changing environment. These include networking, communication, working as part of a team, enhancing your personal brand, as well as tips for writing your CV for jobs and university applications. Candidates will also have the opportunity to network with members of the business and hear from some of our current graduates and apprentices on their own journey and experiences in pursuing a career in Banking.

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is open to Year 12 and Year 13 students who are currently studying for A-Levels, or an equivalent qualification. We are looking for bright, ambitious candidates with a willingness to learn, who have a passion for financial services and a creative mindset.

Where and When?

The Discovery Day will run on Wednesday, 29th October 2025 at our London office located at 10 Harewood Avenue, NW1 6AA, London.

Your CV should be no longer than one A4 page and should include your education details, subjects you are studying, extra curricular activities, work experience and, if relevant, any other initiatives or courses you have undertaken which demonstrate your interest in the Finance industry.

The deadline for submitting your application is 16th September 2025.

Tips on applying

• Keep it clear. Your CV should be easy to read and no more than one page. Use bullet points, short sentences and clear structure. Ensure you include your education details, subjects you are studying, extra curricular activities, work experience.

• Write like a human. Use AI tools to help structure or check tone, but speak in your own voice. Generic applications fade fast. We want to hear what makes you, you.

• Show your interest. Mention insight days, virtual simulations (like Forage or AmplifyME), or finance podcasts and newsletters. They show you’re not just interested in a job — you’re invested in the industry.
