Job Title: Sr. Automation Tester

Department: Securities Services

About Business line/Function: HVP

Position Purpose: Automation Tester will be responsible to:

- Design and create the automation test plans and the automation test scripts for the IST & UAT;

- Create the automation test suite for IST & UAT 

- The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive and a good team player. 

-  The candidate should have experience in work effectively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

-         Hands on experience of Automation tools, techniques and frame work development in particular, 

a.       Selenium Automation with Core-Java Language

b.      Candidate should have experience in Selenium Java automation framework development

c.       Should have working experience with Cucumber (Preferred) Maven/POM/Test NG (Selenium)

d.      Should work on BDD / Key word / Data Driven automation framework 

e.       Should work on EDGE browser based application with Data Base validation through automation

f.        Extended & Strong experience on Locators finding (Xpath & CSS)

g.       Should work on IE based Angular/EXTJS framework based application

-         Experience in BDD Automation tools/frameworks such as Sikuli/Cucumber/Protractor for agile project development

-         Exposure to API web services testing (Preferred)

-         Good automation experience in CI/CD under Agile – Dev. Ops model.

-         Hands on experience of ALM/QC

-         Good communication skills both verbal and written.

-         The candidate knows how to write main documentation about the implemented test automaton architecture and the test automaton user guide etc..

-         Good experience in handling Database with knowledge in DB queries

-         The candidate must be motivated, very dynamic, pro-active & Team player with lead responsibilities

-         The candidate always likes looking for the best technical solution and willing to learn new test frameworks to automate.

-        The candidate is keen to learn the test designer activity (create and describe new test cases).

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·        5 to 7 years of Selenium Automation Testing Experience

Technical

-        Hands on experience of Automation tools, techniques and frame work development in particular, 

a.      Selenium Automation with Core-Java Language

b.      Candidate should have experience in Selenium Java automation framework development

c.      Should have working experience with Cucumber (Preferred) and POM/Test NG (Selenium),

d.      Test script experience in ExtJS & Angular web applications

e.      Should work on Key word / Data Driven automation framework 

f.       Should work on Edge, Chrome browser based application with Data Base validation

g.      Extended experience on Locators finding (Xpath & CSS)

-        Exposure to web services testing (Preferred)

-        Good automation experience in CI/CD under Agile – Dev. Ops model.

-        Hands on experience of ALM/QC 

-        Experience of estimating test effort

-        Should possess good knowledge with Testing concepts (Test Strategy, Test Plan, Estimations, Test Closer reports..etc.).

-        Closely work with Dev teams/SIT team to resolve issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.

-        Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams

-        Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated

-        Should be able to perform all testing-related duties.

-        Good communication skills both verbal and written.

o   Must have good technical and debugging knowledge

o   SQL - To write sql queries to retrieve the data from DB and do the validation
