About the job
- The Equities Financing Trade Support (EQFI) Analyst's mission is to perform the first level of Trading Control, being highly driven to mitigate operational risk with a higher focus on D1 Products and Swaps. The EQFI Trade Support is the dedicated trade support for equity financing activity of the European hub (mainly London and Paris) and endorse the responsibility of the booking quality of every deal from the booking until the expiry.
Your Main Activities Are
- Manage the trade processing for Forward Trading activities, control and manage all new transactions and ensure each position and trade are correct, such as the delta coming with every trade.
- Ensure that input and validation of trades in the in-house booking systems is accurate. Increase/unwind existing positions and guarantee all information is clear and transparent.
- Ensure the integrity of the data that makes up the traders positions. Calculate, analyse and book all types of events that come along during the life of a deal.
- Minimize operational risks and fraud risks by putting in place the regular and sufficient controls inherent to its position (reporting to relevant teams when needed).
- Escalate to management, the management of the Front Office and / or permanent control any problems identified.
- Smoothen the process of flowing information throughout the remaining teams within the bank.
- Respond to internal and external client queries and ensure that all FO/sales trades are correctly booked in the system, and settled correctly in a timely manner.
- Daily control of payoff changes and closely follow updates on existing trades.
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Business Management
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Fluent level of English
- Operations and Processes - Middle Office Operations
- Operations and Processes - Transaction processing and data capture
- Critical thinking
- Ability to deliver/Results driven
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to collaborate
