About the job

  • You will join the IT Group – Cybersecurity and Digital Fraud division as part of the DORA Governance Team. Your primary mission is to steer the DORA implementation at BNP Paribas, assist entities with practical challenges, and communicate project status updates
  • As a Technical Project Manager, you will drive the hands-on rollout of DORA across BNP Paribas entities, bridging the gap between regulatory requirements and operational execution. Your key responsibilities include
  • Project Planning and Delivery: Maintain the DORA implementation roadmap, translate regulatory requirements into the cyber framework, support entities in overcoming technical challenges, and ensure timely achievement of milestones
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Organize steering committees, run regular “quick-check” sessions, and maintain stakeholder alignment throughout project execution
  • Status Communication: Produce clear, visual status updates and in-depth analysis (dashboards, one-page briefs) for various stakeholders and senior management
  • Hands-on Support: Collaborate directly with technical and business teams to implement DORA requirements (such as network segmentation, backup, third-party monitoring), troubleshoot roadblocks, and demonstrate a willingness to learn about less familiar topics
  • Point of Contact: Serve as the primary liaison for specific stakeholders, addressing DORA-related inquiries and escalating issues as necessary

Your Main Activities Are

  • Project Planning and Coordination
  • Contribute to and maintain the DORA-implementation roadmap (tasks, milestones, deadlines)
  • Track progress of entities against their roadmaps and flag deviations early
  • Organize and run regular follow-up meetings, workshops, and ad-hoc checkpoints
  • Challenge teams when needed and escalate issues promptly
  • Hands-on Support
  • Work with technical and business owners to translate DORA requirements (for example, network segmentation, operational resilience testing program, third-party monitoring) into actionable items
  • Provide “how-to” guidance to stakeholders through analytical documentation
  • Communication and Reporting
  • Keep every stakeholder informed about current status, upcoming actions, and individual responsibilities
  • Produce clear, visual status reports (dashboards, briefs) for senior stakeholders and management
  • Maintain a living FAQ/SharePoint capturing project information, common questions, and lessons learned

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology and Computer Science or related
  • At least 3 years of experience in Information Technology or similar
  • Advanced level of English, both written and oral
  • Ability to manage a project
  • Communication skills, both written and oral
  • Decision making
  • Personal impact / ability to influence

  • Within the IT Group’s Informatics Directorate, the Cybersecurity and Digital Fraud Department’s mission is to structure, strengthen, and harmonize IT risk management and cybersecurity across the BNP Paribas Group (approximately 30 entities). The department aims to
  • Define the vision and strategy for IT risk management and cybersecurity, ensuring effective implementation throughout the Group’s operating entities
  • Monitor the security of the Group's information systems
  • Steer IT Continuity and Resilience strategies and maintain a robust methodological framework.
  • The evolving cyber threat landscape has significantly increased the security risks within the financial sector, prompting BNP Paribas to further strengthen its cybersecurity maturity, IT risk management, and operational resilience
  • As a regulated financial institution, BNP Paribas must comply with the European Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA – Regulation (EU) 2022/2554), which became fully applicable in January 2025. DORA establishes organizational and technical standards to bolster the cybersecurity and operational resilience of EU-based financial entities
