Your Main Activities Are
- Investment Research Team Manager guides the team to excellency, manages the day to day aspects of each of the team members, ensures the objectives are met and that the team strategy is applied. The Investment Research Team Manager aims at publishing clear, timely and thought-provoking research on topics ranging from financial and economic forecasts to in-depth analysis of particular assets, economies and themes. Also supervises the activity performed by the Team, minimizes the operational risk and fulfills all administrative duties.
- Handling effectively the day to day management of the team. Responsible for recruitment processes, objectives, appraisals of all team members
- Ensure regular one to one and team meetings, control motivation and career prospection, ensuring the maintenance of stable and resilient team
- Research new modelling techniques and lead the development of quant indicators for asset prices, economic variables and derivative markets
- Use the quant framework to analyse investment themes and generate trade ideas and produce thematic research reports which relate quant analytics to current economic and market newsflow
- Interacting often with Supporting Teams and regular feedback exchange with Team Leaders. This may include several teams, but more occasionally the Middle Office Teams, the IT Trade and Application Support Teams and Research & Development Teams
- Meeting regularly with the different Front Office Heads of Desks, to discuss and exchange feedback around different business topics.
Profile and Skills to Success
- Masters in Economics, Finance and Accounting, Mathematics and Statistics
- Data Analytics ( 5 - 7 years )
- Financial Analysis and Advisory ( 5 – 7 years )
