Job Title: Business Analyst (EDM / IBM FileNet)

Department: ISPL India (Mumbai or Chennai)

About Business line/Function: ITG IT Transversal (EDM – Transversal assets)

Position Purpose: 

Ensure the functional and technical management of applications within the Enterprise Document Management (EDM) platform based on IBM FileNet.
Act as the interface between business teams (BCEF, ITG, Finance, etc.), Operations, and IT teams to guarantee the availability, performance, evolution, and compliance of the
solution.

Responsibilities perimeter 

Day-to-Day Operations

  • Ensure the daily operational stability of EDM applications.
  • Monitor and manage incidents, change requests, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Manage version upgrades and patching in coordination with Operations teams and technical experts.

RUN & Project Activities

  • Collect and formalize business requirements.
  • Write functional and technical specifications.
  • Participate in testing, acceptance, and validation phases of deliverables.
  • Contribute to application enhancement or deployment projects for the EDM platform.
  • Coordinate stakeholders (business teams, experts, operations, DBAs, etc.).
  • Prepare and present materials for governance and business committee meetings.
  • Manage the annual access rights review in coordination with business teams.

Documentation & Training

  • Produce functional and technical documentation, particularly for Operations teams.
  • Train business users and provide Level 1 and Level 2 support.
  • Train Operations teams and maintain documentation (Word or Confluence).

 

Contributing Responsibilities

·         Understand and analyse the needs coming from the Business or deriving from market changes, proposing suitable solutions, in line with the entity’s strategic plan, and converting them into detailed requirements.

·         Involve all relevant stakeholders in the process of definition and validation of any new requirement, assessing all potential impacts.

·         Ensure the implementation of the new features and changes in Production environment.

·         Follow the go live process, compare the impacts towards expectations and propose adjustments when needed.

·         Write the different User stories, associated with the documentation (requirements) to ensure the respect of the definition of ready

·         Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.

·         Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.

·         Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.

·         Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.

·         Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in IBM FileNet products (P8, Content Manager, ACCE, administration, sweep jobs, etc.).
  • Knowledge of EDM architectures, workflows, and document repositories.
  • well versed with JIRA, and reporting tool
  • High proficiency with SQL and database management
  • Proven analytical abilities
  • Experience in generating process documentation and reports
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights

Functional Skills

  • Ability to understand and model business processes.
  • Experience in document management and legal archiving (EaaS).
  • Good knowledge of security standards and document compliance regulations (GDPR, archiving, etc.).

Soft Skills

  • Strong service mindset and communication skills.
  • Rigor, autonomy, and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with business teams, operations, and IT teams (DBA, systems, networks, data flows, etc.).
  • Knowledge of BNP Paribas management tools (MyAccess, MyTechnicalAccess, SAAM, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, etc.).

 

Specific Qualifications:

Filenet / EDM is a MUST

 

Technical Skills:

·         Filenet experience is a must

·         JIRA and creating requirement documents from requirement gathered 

 

Behavioral Skills:

Education Level: 

·         Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.

·         At least 4 to 6 years Development experience
