About Business line/Function: |
The Network Infrastructure and Telecom team is responsible for supervising, monitoring and developing the Networks, Infrastructure and Telecommunication of the regional Hub of BNP Paribas in the India region, liaising with BNP Paribas Head Offices where all major banking applications are hosted. Telecom Team activities plays a major role in the structure of processes that govern decision making around IT investment, client and suppliers relationships, project management. |

Position Purpose | |||||
The main activities of the Senior Analyst – Network and Data Center is to select/build/ manage Datacenters and operate Datacentre services, Datacentre being the centre of IT Services to deliver IT solutions to the Business, timely delivery of services is critical to success of BNP Business. Deliver remote network management services across different domains of network. The network services would mainly include support on WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi and MPLS technologies, Telecom and Datacenter domain team is responsible for all Network, Telecom and Datacenters services across the INDIA He will assist the team ensuring effective service management to meet service-level agreements and control costs.

Responsibilities | |||||
Infrastructure Operations
· Datacentre Infrastructure Management · Standardize IN Datacentre Services across all facilities. · Review and revise of all policies and procedures being used in IN Datacentre Management · Support/contribute for all audits related to Datacentre · Contribute for Dashboard reporting · Availability and Capacity Management · Network Incident troubleshooting and escalation to L3 · BAU support operations · Coordinates root cause analysis for all day-to-day technical issues and establish recovery and prevention processes. · Coordinates with onshore teams; interface with vendors and partners for issue resolution. · Networks obsolesce and Tech refresh · Vulnerability Management and finding remediation · SLA adherence and Dashboard reporting · Proposes solution alternatives, provide impact analysis for any technical changes. · Translates high level objectives into low level work modules and tasks. · Performs requirements gathering and design · ITIL and Change Management experience

Competencies (Technical / Behavioral) | |||||
· 5 to 8 years of work experience required, minimum 4 years of relevant work experience required large enterprise networks · Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities · Has expert knowledge of various Datacenter facilities (UPS, Generator, Fire Suppression, CCTV, CRAC) and Services · Has knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Datacenters in INDIA region · Has experience in managing multicultural technical staff to deliver various Datacenter services · Good knowledge and understanding of Datacenter Market in INDIA · Basic skills in implementation, administration and troubleshooting of Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and Network Products - Routers, Switches, strong knowledge of static/dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP/OSPF/BGP/ISIS), transports (Internet/MPLS/VPLS) · Troubleshooting skills to identify faults and ensure timely repairs. · Experience in Traffic analysis tools: Solar winds, Netflow, Netscout probes, Infinistream and Wireshark. · Skills in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of local area and wide area networks using Cisco hardware, leased lines and MPLS. · Fluent in English to work with the global and regional teams · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines · Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including shift and out of hours working · Demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude that fosters excellent service and Business satisfaction · Excellent organizational skills · Expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines · Good team and relationship builder with excellent communication skills at all levels · Excellent documentation skills | |||||
