About Business line/Function:
The Infrastructure & Production function is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, security and availability of application services throughout their lifecycle. Operating in a continuously evolving technical environment, the team works closely with development and business stakeholders within an Agile and DevOps framework, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Position Purpose:
The IT Operations & Application Production Support Engineer (Confirmed) operates with a high level of autonomy in a constantly changing technical environment. The role requires strong learning agility, adaptability and the ability to continuously evolve alongside new technologies, tools and organizational changes.
Primarily focused on IT Operations activities, the position also includes Application Production Support responsibilities within the RUN scope. As part of this role, the engineer coordinates and plans RUN activities and regularly participates in IT–Business meetings to ensure alignment between technical operations and business needs.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Operate autonomously on day-to-day IT Operations activities, ensuring production stability and service availability.
- Contribute to the definition of technical solutions by integrating production, infrastructure, security and monitoring requirements from early project phases.
- Ensure production readiness and operability of technical environments (production and non-production), including performance, backup, restore and access management.
- Deploy, operate and maintain production and infrastructure services in compliance with architecture and security standards.
- Implement, configure and supervise monitoring, alerting and supervision solutions for applications and technical components.
- Maintain applications in operational condition (MCO) and proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support development teams to secure and accelerate deliveries in an Agile and DevOps context.
- Adapt to continuously evolving technical environments, tools and practices by maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge.
- Identify operational issues (performance, flows, security, network) and contribute to corrective and preventive action plans.
- Manage incidents and problems, ensuring efficient service restoration, coordination, communication and root cause analysis.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan RUN activities on the application perimeter, ensuring alignment between IT OPS, APS, development and business teams.
- Participate in IT–Business meetings to understand business priorities, constraints and operational expectations.
- Provide technical and functional application support to users.
- Contribute to problem management activities, including root cause analysis, action tracking and follow-up with stakeholders.
- Support release preparation, deployment activities and production transitions.
- Maintain and update operational documentation, procedures and knowledge bases.
- Contribute to planning, prioritization and coordination of operational and functional activities within the RUN scope.
- Promote best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across teams.

- Confirmed experience in IT Operations and/or Application Production Support roles.

- Experience working in Agile and DevOps organizations.
- Exposure to coordination and planning activities within RUN contexts.
