Job Title: Assistant Vice President, Business Intelligence Engineer

Location: 12 E 49th Street, New York, NY 10017

 

Duties: Gather business requirements to develop data models operated by users. Write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code with minimal defects, and automate manual processes where possible. Enhance data governance efforts in standardization of metrics, data documentation, and data catalogs. Support the creation of ad-hoc / on-demand data sets. Monitor and maintain data solutions environments while continually analyzing for improvements. Enhance current suite of insights and reports and focus on delivery of self-serve solutions. Troubleshoot data, analyses, and code, research root causes, propose solutions, and take ownership in next steps for their resolutions. *Telecommuting permitted 50%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas office in New York, NY.

 

SALARY:   $110,000- $140,000 / year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

 

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or business related major and two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with the following: experience in the data analytics field; strong analytical, statistical, data modeling, and investigative skills, including R and Python; data querying or modeling including SQL; building and maintaining basic data artifacts, including ETL, data models, and queries; one or more industry analytics visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI; how to improve code quality and optimize BI processes; data modeling and data pipeline design and global banking products & services.
