In concrete terms, your daily life
As a Team leader, we will be responsible for supervision a team composed by Data Scientists and Data Analysts that are to produce and adapt data analysis models and tools, and to develop and improve data quality controls to help standardization of processes and analysis. The Team Leader is also responsible for ensuring good relationships with Hub clients:
- Assign tasks to the different members of the team, according to their skills and availability
- Guarantee compliance with internal methodologies and procedures
- Ensure a first level of quality review
- Ensure the adequacy between the available resources and the expected workload
- Ensure the proper use of the IT resources made available (servers)
- You will be able to support the team in producing and optimizing data analytics models/tools, and participate in the process;
- Together with the development team you will ensure high-level of scalability for our engines and ensure code optimization (RAM, cores, any IT resource) to have light engines
- Run python-based analytical engines on a regular basis (monthly, weekly, daily) to serve countries and automate these run phases
- Under the direction of the Hub Manager, lead standardization projects (process, methodological) with other team leaders within the Hub
- Take the initiative to propose forward-looking changes to the current procedures, processes and methodologies.
- Participate in events chosen by the hub manager to promote the hub and share the Hub best practices

Are you our new Team Leader?
- Do you have a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields?
- Do you have strong programming and scripting skills (Python), academic knowledge about machine learning, statistical analysis (AB testing, significance tests, among others) and quantitative analysis skills?
- Do you have good skills in team or project management, collaboration, communication, adaptability and initiative spirit, high focus on delivery?
- Do you have fluency in oral and written English?
- Do you have at least 3 to 5 years of experience?
- Are you open for occasional travel in Europe?
