Description
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our international development team that delivers first class applications for our businesses and clients. The job involves 70% Frontend and 30% Backend tasks.
Your role is to develop software applications according to the business needs being involved in all phases of SDLC based on Agile framework.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and implement projects or parts of large-scale projects as part of the development team
- Responsible of solving complex problems and exposed to a variety of challenges, from technical solutions and design to improving service delivery from an end-to-end perspective
- Understand and evaluate complex data models
- Develop solutions to improve performance and scalability of systems
- Implement the company development guidelines and processes and come with improvement suggestions
- Responsible for analysis / evaluation / implementation of the technical solution(s) defined for his allocated project or within the support zone
- Act as a mentor and technical coordinator, guiding the development team during the software development life cycle
- Deliver scalable end to end solutions by seamlessly integrating front-end user experience with robust backend systems.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Java development with a mix of Front and Backend development
- Advanced technical knowledge in Angular
- Strong experience in Spring Boot, Spring Data/JPA
Practical knowledge in at least three areas from the list below:
- REST / WS
- HTML5 + CSS3 / JavaScript / jQuery
- Linux / JBoss
- PostgreSQL
- Daily use of one of the following tools:
- IDE: Eclipse / NetBeans / IntelliJ
- Repository: SVN / Git / Mercurial
- Build: Hudson / Jenkins / Maven
- Test: JUnit / Teamcity / Fitnesse
- Web Services using WCF (SOAP) and Web APIs (REST)
Other Skills:
- SQL, XML, JSON, Domain Driven Design
- IBM Cloud knowledge, Postgres, Kafka/RabbitMQ, vertical slice architecture knowledge - would be a plus
Other skills required:

- Team player mentality: ability and willingness to collaborate and support in a global team
- Self-driven, suggests ideas, has initiative
- Ability to work autonomously
- Language skills: English (written / verbal)
