About BNL: |
BNL's Information Technology (IT) Area is a partner of the bank and the companies of the BNL BC Group for the digital evolution of operational and business models through the design, planning and implementation of distinctive, reliable and sustainable technological solutions. IT Production Unit reports functionally to the ITG (Informatique Technologies Groupe) department of the parent company, is functionally responsible for the IT structures of the companies of the BNL BC Group and coordinates the IT community of the BNPP Group in Italy, with the aim of obtaining all possible synergies of purpose, ensure full operational consistency and enable the digital transformation of our Group. As part of IT Production BNL, Application Production is responsible for supporting the IT production applications for BNL.
BNL Application Production activities are critical and highly visible. Around 700 applications and 4000 servers are under IT Production - Application Production responsibility.
BNL Application Production has a roadmap to ensure production security & stability, reduce time-to-market by using the most advanced technologies and integrate functional application support to provide full applications production & support services.

Position Purpose | |||||||
The Application Production main responsibility is to provide applications production support services and ensure the evolution of server and cloud infrastructure. A team is setup in India to be closer to the Italian Application Production Team and BNL Application development teams with which we are working.
Leveraging BNL BNP Paribas Paris teams’ expertise and ISPL IT skills, the goal is to ensure the resolution of infrastructure obsolescence, respecting the application roadmap.
The DB Engineer will join a team created to work on an ambitious BNL systems evolution program, with the primary goal of increasing application resilience by converging to Cloud DMZR. Key reference projects include: · Petal2Core Cloud Migration · Data Lab & AI Data Streaming · Oracle - ExaCC Migration · Command Center Review

Direct Responsibilities
· Ensuring smooth and efficient transition of IT projects during the operational phase · Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve potential issues during the transition process · Continuously improving transition and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness · Coordinate closely with Rome IT Application Production Teams working on IT Evolution program and all other BNL BNP Paribas IT teams · Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities · A proactive and results-driven approach to work
Contributing Responsibilities

1. Data Base Administration – Strong technical knowledge and experience on: o Familiarity with database technology is required: § Oracle 12 and 19 § SQL Server 2012, 2016, 2019 § DB2 § Postgres § Mongo DB o Familiarity with data management tool: § IBM Datastage o Installation, configuration, backup, Performance & Tuning o Capability to execute basic scripts and queries 2. Infrastructure Administration - Strong technical knowledge and experience on: o Cloud Native Application with focus on IBM cloud (Platform as a Service) o Operating System : § RedHat Linux 6.x, 7.x, 8.x § Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 o System Scripting (Shell, Python, ecc.)
General competences:
