Main purpose:

As a Marketing Coordinator at Mobicred, you will play a vital role in supporting the execution of our marketing strategies across various channels. You will be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth project management and contributing to the overall success of our marketing campaigns.  You will need to be a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a passion for e-commerce, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive marketing success.  This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced and exciting environment. 


Key Responsibilities

Campaign Support: 

Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and potentially offline initiatives.

Content Coordination:  

Support the content creation process by coordinating with writers, designers, and other stakeholders.  Assist with proofreading and scheduling content across different platforms.

Social Media Management: 

Assist with social media scheduling, community management, and reporting.  Contribute to developing engaging social media content.

Email Marketing Support:  

Assist in the creation and deployment of email marketing campaigns, including list management, template creation, and performance analysis.

Reporting and Analysis: 

Track and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to the marketing team.  Identify areas for improvement and contribute to optimizing campaign effectiveness.

Administrative Support:  

Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including managing budgets, processing invoices, and coordinating meetings.

Market Research:

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Collaboration: 

Work closely with other teams within the organization, including sales, product, and customer service.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Matric
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role (internship experience considered).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Meta business suite, Linkedin, Outlook, Teams 
  • Proficient in PowerBI, CRM systems like Mailchimp, Design software like Canva, Linktree 
  • Basic to intermediate experience in social media management.  
  • Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.  
  • Experience with Google Analtyics - advantageous
