Job Title: Release Manager
Department: Products & industrialization
About Business line/Function: Be part of agile team delivering new projects, products and services for Cardif. We are collaborating with big players across Europe.
Position Purpose: Release Manager is supporting Agile teams (developers, analysts, architect, scrum master, product owner and second tester),
The agile team works on development of new projects with Czech and international partners, maintains and improves already existing applications
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Implementing and managing release processes of software.
· Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio.
· Negotiates, plans and manages all release activities.
· Working collaboratively with all participants in software development projects such as testing, development, devops ,business stakeholders.
· Coordinate release content in cooperation with the demand management function based on the backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates.
· Communicate release notes – scope and plan to all interested parties.
· Deals with release package acceptance including business sign off.
· Manages deployment of software to production.
· Drive change management process and attend CAB
· Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
· Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time.
· Manage all aspects of the end to end release process
· Meet agreed deadlines
· Ad hoc tasks assigned by the line manager
Contributing Responsibilities
· Definition of insurance companies core system release plan
· Responsibility of release plan fulfillment
· Change management of the release plan
· Continuous improvement of the release process
· Involvement in Projects and their succcessfull completion
· Be ready to substitute anyone within squad

4+ years of software Release process
Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)
Technical Skills:
- Project Planning
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Dynatrace
- Kibana, being able to read the logs
- Java script – for test automation purposes

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)
