About Business line/Function:

In Treasury Management ensure that there is sufficient cash in BO accounts for their payments to be processed with the help of treasury desk.
Team process litigation when there is a discrepancy in value dates between internal accounting (ledger) and the correspondent's statement.
Additionally, handle the administration tasks related to creating, updating, and deleting interest rates for groups of interest's correspondents.
Furthermore, team is in charge of managing all interest scales for principal accounts, as well as those for which we have received accounting interests or scales for secondary accounts.

Position Purpose

candidate will be responsible for performing and covering daily exposures related to Collateral Management with multiple clients. Resource will work on the daily tasks, monitor the client portfolio, and will report directly to the Team Manager of the Collateral process. The staff will be working closely with Paris management, Relationship management, Front office, external counterparts as part of their daily BAU.

 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Collateral Manager is in charge of managing and ensuring that the collateral is sufficient to cover associated risks and that it is appropriately allocated and managed. 

 

Day to day production

 

·       Get trained in respective function and tasks of the Agency Lending

·       Liaising closely and provide an exceptional level of service to the Front Office.

·       Keep up and manage every operational aspect linked to the activity of Agency Lending and maintain quality relationship with respective custodians, external stakeholders like counterparties and also with our traders.

·       Facilitating the settlement of trades, collateral and ensuring trades are captured with accuracy.

·       Assisting reconciling transactions related to collateral and settlement process. 

·       Monitor all the loans booked by Front Desk & collateral trades are settled in time in adherence to the settlement cycle.

·       Check the exposures on client funds during the day and manage daily call margins with brokers and agents.

·       Resolve breaks in the reconciliation in collaboration with reconciliation team.

·       Ensure Client & management reporting is made within deadline and without any errors or delay. 

·       Perform control tasks required for the process, double check and confirm the completion of tasks within the deadline in line with daily checklists.

·       Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines.

·       Ability to work in a team environment in coordination with the colleagues and the mangers.

·       Gaining familiarity with relevant trading and settlement systems ( SWIFT , Payment system , trade capture systems )

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required.
