Job Title: Associate
Department: Asset Management – Reporting Data Services
About Business line/Function: Asset Management Reporting is responsible for transforming validated investment, accounting, pricing, and reference data into accurate, timely, and compliant reports for clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders. The function supports multiple reporting types across asset classes, geographies, and regulatory regimes.
Position Purpose:
To ensure the availability and timely delivery of all performance‑risk data and related information that feed the reporting ecosystem and external data‑vendor platforms. The Analyst monitors data quality, validates portfolio parameters, manages scope‑additions and drives prompt issue‑resolution in collaboration with internal teams (reporting, IT, portfolio accounting) and external data‑vendor contacts, thereby supporting accurate client reporting, and smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
1. Run the regular checks that verify the presence of all required performance and risk indicators for every portfolio.
2. Investigate missing or incorrect data (e.g., wrong inception dates, benchmark mismatches and raise it with the relevant team basis the escalation matrix.
3. Verify that each share/ISIN is correctly scoped for the relevant external data vendors and perform manual “scope‑addition” when the relevant criteria’s are met.
4. Ensure outputs aligned with documented procedures and meets client expectations.
5. Cross‑check dividend releases and NAV movements against the internal repository and Power BI dashboards; raise tickets for any discrepancy.
6. Acknowledge every request within the agreed timeline, investigate, and drive the issue to resolution within the defined service‑level time‑frames.
Contributing Responsibilities
1. Communicate with upstream teams to obtain the relevant data/information.
2. Identify systemic issues, recurring errors, or control weaknesses and escalate with root-cause analysis.
3. Contribute to periodic status‑update reports for senior managers and onshore teams.
4. Contribute to strengthening control frameworks and standardization.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Technical Competencies
1. Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
2.Exposure to data‑vendor environments (Bloomberg, Morningstar, FactSet, etc.) is a plus
3. Familiarity with a data‑extraction/automation platform.
4. Experience with Power BI or comparable reporting tools
5.Basic understanding of performance‑risk indicators and benchmarks and portfolio returns.

Specific Qualifications:
Post Graduate degree in Finance or related discipline.
Prior experience in Data Services, Investment Operations, or Financial Data Management roles is preferred.

Education Level: Post Graduate degree in Finance
Candidates with equivalent professional experience in Asset Management Operations or Financial Reporting may be considered.
