Deputy Head of IG Hub Central & Eastern Europe (all genders) in BNP Paribas
In Frankfurt, we are looking for you to join us in a full-time or part-time, permanent position as Deputy Head of IG Hub Central & Eastern Europe (all genders)
within BNP Paribas Inspection Générale, Hub Central & Eastern Europe (Hub CEE).

As Deputy Head of Hub CEE, you will contribute to the Group Audit activities in 10+ countries across all BNP Paribas Operating Divisions. With our dynamic team of approximately 70 auditors, we cover an audit universe of more than 90 legal entities in major European cities from A(thens) to Z(urich).
We are looking for a versatile Audit Manager to lead a dynamic team of audit professionals across multiple locations. In this position, you will be responsible for the audit coverage of all activities within the geographical perimeter of the Hub and for the supervision of audit assignments adhering to professional audit practices while incorporating data analytics techniques and agile audit methods. The Deputy Head of Hub CEE is an integral member of the Hub’s Management Team and will work closely with the Head of Hub to ensure value adding audit assurance and to drive the strategic direction of the Hub and the continuous development of the team.

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you
- Leading a team of (Senior) Auditors and Audit Managers across different locations of the Hub which includes the hierarchical responsibility
- Ensuring the audit coverage of all entities and activities within the allocated Business Lines of BNP Paribas within the geographical perimeter of the Hub
- Supervising audit assignments according to the International Internal Audit (IIA) standards while guiding and coaching the Heads of Assignment and the team
- Supervising allocated Expertise Lines within the Hub and develop related audit excellence
- Representing Hub CEE in Committees and vis-à-vis External Auditors and Regulators
- Establishing and maintaining constructive relationships with key stakeholders such as Management of entities within the Hub’s perimeter, relevant regional Management, and Inspection Générale Head office contacts
- Actively bringing forward proposals to foster the Hub's organizational and process evolution and drive the implementation of targeted projects
Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Audit, Finance, Business Engineering, Law or similar
- 8+ years’ working experience in the financial industry including roles relevant to this position (e.g., Business or Audit Manager or Head of Assignment)
- Solid knowledge and experience in Corporate and Institutional Business and Security Services
- Leadership experience
- Strong risk awareness and a keen eye for control processes
- Strong analytical skills, quality assurance techniques and ability to synthetize
- Identifying solution-oriented approaches for informed decision-making
- Very strong communication and C-level proven negotiation skills, ability to connect, establish and build relationships
- Relevant professional certificates preferred (e.g. CIA, CISA, CFE, etc.)
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; additional languages such as German or French are a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, in particular Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint
