About the job
- The Principal Collateral Operations Officer processes the Net Present Value of the portfolio of trades between BNP Paribas and its counterparties on a regular basis and ensure that this exposure is sufficiently collateralised
Your Main Activities Are
- Perform data quality analysis prior to issuing margin calls
- Issue of margin calls and respond to incoming margin calls
- Book eligible Credit Support, namely Free of Payment cash, bonds, Tri-Party or repricing
- Dispute resolution through portfolio reconciliation
- Execute payments and receipts of daily margin calls
- Insure the monthly interest settlements
- Perform and respond to control reporting to ensure effective break and fails and exception management
- Establish correct contact details with main stakeholders around
- Maintain new agreements and amendments up to date on main systems used on a regular basis
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or any related field
- At least to 2 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Fluency in English, both oral and written with great communication skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel
- Great team spirit with the ability to collaborate and pass on knowledge
- Great attentiveness to detail and sense of responsiveness and quality of service
- Ability to cope with pressure and short deadlines and ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
