CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES 

Ranked as the second largest global fund center, Luxembourg is a preferred jurisdiction for institutional and private investors. The Luxembourg Fund Sector is very dynamic, innovative and well established thanks to its robust regulatory framework. 

The Fund Administration has always been and will remain a key pillar of the Fund industry. It is fully integrated with multiple counterparties (inside and outside the bank): Transfer Agent, Depot bank, Custodian, Management Companies, Brokers, and Auditors…

WHAT’S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?

Ø  Net Asset Value Calculation in respect of our procedures and the ISAE3402 standard :

o    Ensure the Zero Default Quality.

o    Ensure reconciliations are performed (cash, securities, shares in issue) and any difference is explained. 

o    Ensure the follow-up of the pending items, and escalate to the management in case of long and/or impacting pending.  

o    Calculate and control the Net Asset Values.

o    Check that the Pricing of the underlying out of tolerance is correct with the usual Pricing Sources. 

o    Provide answers when required to any person in charge an action in the NAV Cycle.

o    Respect our clients Net Asset Value publication cut offs.

Ø  Understand the operational and financial risks related the fund accountant mission :

By using the “Self Risk Assessment” documents. Inform immediately your manager when an error has been discovered or in case of a problem affecting our client duties.

Ø  Respect our client publication cut offs :

By adapting your work in relation with your daily planning.

Ø  Year End closing and Audit :

Ensure all the documents are available in due time for the auditors. Provide answers to the auditors within two business days.

Ø  Participate in maintaining high standards in terms of quality of our internal and external relationship :

Provide professional answers within the agreed standards defined.

Ø  Participate in projects :

Provide support during project such as funds migration, funds merger, launch of new funds, liquidations …

Ø  Assist the good operation of the team :

o    Improvement of the procedures.

o    Ensure the archiving of the NAV Pack.

Professional experience and/or degree 

A strong willingness to learn and excel, bundle with energy is necessary.

Previous experience in the fund industry is an asset.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics or Finance

Academic Background: Business school, university (BAC+5)

Language skills

Good written and oral French and English skills are essential.
