Position Purpose 

The Listed Derivatives House‑Reconciliation Analyst/Sr.analyst is responsible for the end‑to‑end reconciliation of all listed futures and options processed for the firm’s accounts (Cash, Trade & position reconciliation). The role ensures that internal records match external sources (clearers, brokers, and counterparties), identifies and resolves mismatches, and supports the production of accurate, timely reconciliation.

The analyst works closely with Clearing, Broker, Front office, Middle office, Trade Support, Treasury, Risk, Finance, and IT teams, acting as a key control point to safeguard the firm’s derivative positions and cash balances.

The role covers APAC and / or EMEA markets. 

Responsibilities 

Listed Derivatives operations is part of CIB / Market Operations globally. Locally it is part of India services. LD House Back office team provides service BNPP FM’s own business which trades Futures, options, commodities and other type of derivative contracts.

The teams is responsible for smooth running of day today operations, processing activities such as reconfirmation, allocation, clearing, settling margin calls, reconciling trade, positions, cash market fees, brokerage. Team provides support across all regions APAC/EMEA/US. This team works very closely with other platforms and hub locations notably Lisbon, Singapore, London and US. Change and design role in DEC is responsible for consolidating and following up on the Ops and IT book of work to improve the process and tracking of the projects across the lifecycle and reporting to management.  

Contributing Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should be well versed with Listed derivatives operations processing

  • Have hands on knowledge of markets and exchanges across all regions such as, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Eurex, ICE, CME group (CME, CBOT, NYMEX, NYBOT), OCC, NODAL 
  • Know day-to-day processing includes (at minimum) Reconciliation between:
  • Front and Back office (FOBO) systems  
  • Front office and clearer
  • Back office and clearer
  • Broker confirmations
  • Breaks investigation, resolution and reporting
  • To have deep knowledge of reconciliation at trade, position, cash and P&L level, including parameters like Margin, premium, commission, fees, product type, expiry, strike, contract size, price, qty etc..
  • Be able to read clearer statements

Technical & Behavioral Competencies 

  • Good organization skills
  • Must be prepared to work on any shift supporting Indian/Asia/Americas/European business hours.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VBA and knowledge of AI tools would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong control mindset, Escalate unresolved open items to the respective process Managers proactively
  • Ability to question status quo and identify improvement opportunities
    • Good organization skills
