About Business Line/Function
The Wealth Management (WM) - Operations team is responsible for processing Corporate Actions income and events for Singapore (SG) and Hong Kong (HK) booking centers. This role ensures accurate and timely reconciliation, payment processing, and communication with custodians, front office teams, and clients.
Position Purpose
Processing income and corporate events for WM Operations.
Ensuring timely reconciliation of custodian payment advices for coupons, redemptions, dividends, and mandatory events.
Liaising with custodians, front office teams, and clients to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.
Handling cash and security breaks to account for all payments made by custodians.
This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to support the team in maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Perform timely and accurate data entry for processing all incomes and corporate events.
· Reconcile custodian payment advices for coupons, redemptions, dividends, and mandatory events, and process payments to clients.
· Check custodian pre-notifications for coupons, redemptions, and mandatory events, and prepare pre-advices/notifications for Front Office (FO) and clients.
· Liaise with custodians and front office teams to resolve income and mandatory event queries.
· Prepare outgoing SWIFT/BP2S cash instructions before the cutoff time.
· Handle cash and security breaks to account for all payments made by custodians.
· Pass/Control entries for commission fees collected or update the waiver file if fees are waived.
· Handle queries from RMs/MAs/Custodians on the incomes/events.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements.
· Contribute to workflow improvement processes to enhance operational efficiency.
· Support ad hoc projects as required by the team or management.
Specific Qualifications:
• Minimum 5-9 years of experience along with Bachelor's Degree - in management, finance, economics, related field or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in similar domain.
Technical Skills
· Knowledge of equity, bond, and derivatives.
· Proficiency in settlements and reconciliation processes.
· Familiarity with SWIFT instructions.
Behavioral Skills
· Meticulous attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Good team player with a collaborative mindset.
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
