Job Title: Vice President, AFS Originator & Structuring

Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019

 

 

Duties: Lead origination and execution efforts across private securitizations and Term ABS transactions, across multiple consumer and commercial ABS asset classes, including but not limited to the following: Automotive, Unsecured Consumer Loan, Residential Mortgages, Credit Card, Equipment, Device Payment Plans and Solar. Advise and facilitate acquisition financing transactions with securitization component for target bank clients. Develop and manage securitization platform for inaugural securitization clients. Develop transaction term sheets in anticipation of client needs and/or to meet client financing requirements. Liaise across the bank locally and globally on cross-sell opportunities, with a focus on U.S., European and APAC client relationships. Keep relevant internal stakeholders apprised of market developments and identifying and mitigating risk by preparing memos and other analyses. Mentor and manage junior members of the team. *Telecommuting permitted 10%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas Securities Corp. office in New York, NY. 20% domestic travel required to Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Miami.

 

SALARY$225,000.00 USD - $250,000.00 USD / year. 

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

 

Job Requirements: Bachelor's / US or Foreign Equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, or related field and five (5) years of experience in ABS/RMBS Origination. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Managing large complex datasets using strong mathematical / analytical skills such as loss projections across asset classes and regression modelling of economic data; Expert/advanced use of Microsoft Applications, Bloomberg, CAS and Intex; Experience carrying out securitization legal documentation review; Running and interpreting cashflow modeling outputs related to securitization transactions using strong knowledge of securitization capital structures; Working with relevant regulatory securitization frameworks across both the U.S. and Europe; and experience in acquisition financing, warehouse syndication and mezz placement for securitized facilities. FINRA Requirement: Series 63, 79, and SIE.
