Job Title: Operational Risk Analyst
Location: Solihull; a flexible hybrid working model which supports you as well as enabling you to work collaboratively with your colleagues
Hours: Full time, FTC Until February 2026.

The Role:
As Operational Risk Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering confidence and assurance across our Operations function. With a sharp focus on risk, regulation, and Consumer Duty outcomes, you’ll act as the central point of contact for governance – supporting control execution, incident management, and regulatory alignment. Working closely with both the first and second lines of defence, you’ll help ensure we’re operating with consistency, clarity, and a customer-first mindset at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the key governance lead for Operations, overseeing control frameworks, risk reviews, incident management, and regulatory compliance
- Serve as the central liaison between Operations and stakeholders across Compliance, Audit, Operational Risk, IT, and Finance
- Own and maintain the Operations Control Manual, and lead the delivery of the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs)
- Track, report, and support the resolution of operational incidents – ensuring timely action, root cause analysis, and escalation where necessary
- Manage assurance activities including MAPs and Level 2 control requirements, ensuring deadlines and regulatory expectations are met
- Lead proactive risk reviews and support the implementation of control improvements aligned to Consumer Duty and regulatory change
- Represent Operations at risk governance forums and committees – driving transparency, accountability, and effective closure of risks
Skills & Attributes:
- Experience working in a Risk Controls role or compliance background.
- Proven experience of identifying Operational Risk and effective controls.
- Ability to set objectives and to lead action towards achieving them.
- Stakeholder management.
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Desirable)
