About Business line/Function:

BSPB Production IT will be responsible for managing the IT Operations of BNP Paribas Solutions Philippines Branch (BSPB) primarily operated out of Manila.  


Position Purpose

This position will be responsible for leading the IT Production of BNP Paribas Solutions Philippines Branch (BSPB) primarily operated out of Manila.  The Site IT Production Head will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, managing IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership and communication skills, and experience in IT management.

 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Strategy & Capability:

  • Positions and leads implementation of transformation projects to create new or industrialize existing teams within IT.
  • Is well versed with Corporate and Investment Banking business, strategy and its implications for business and technology delivery expectations
  • Manages multiple clients (internal business lines and functions) from BNP Paribas CIB
  • Is a thought leader and strategy partner to senior executives in ISPL
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with site business objectives.

IT Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including helpdesk, network, and system administration.
  • Ensure IT services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Builds and preserves credibility and trust with clients
  • Effectively manages and leads the largest and / or highest risk projects to ensure completion and significant impact on client KPIs
  • Is the focal point that ensures delivery commitments across CIB businesses are fulfilled
  • Ensure focus on continuity of service and the reduction of operational risk.
  • Responsible for the communication and marketing of the services to consumers/subscribers
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of site applications.
  • Ensure applications are aligned with business needs and are running efficiently.
  • Manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and manage site IT team members.
  • Develop and implement training plans to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and maintain site IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure site IT operations comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate IT-related risks.

Financial management:

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining IT budget and subsequent cost management
  • Consolidates monthly and quarterly forecast
  • Ensure cost-effective use of IT resources.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure vendors are delivering services as agreed upon.

Innovation:

  • Thinks laterally to identify other sources of useful information and sees ways around obstacles & barriers.
  • Ability to undertake a number of issues simultaneously is essential as well as the ability to work under considerable pressure

Conduct:

Governance Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the respective BSPB IT Steercos and other required governance meetings are run on a regular basis at a defined frequency.
  • Contributes to Steerco Committees in a defined frequency or as and when requested by CIB ITO management

Audit Management:

  • Manage internal and external audits, including IT audits, compliance audits, and regulatory audits.
  • Ensure audit readiness, coordinate audit activities, and implement audit recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal audit teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Business Continuity:

  • Responsible for overall BCM Programme of your Department to ensure their business continues when BCP is invoked. (BCM strategy, solution, documentation, Testing etc.)
  • Ensure Business Continuity requirement is integrated with all relevant processes, as applicable
  • Can delegate the same to their nominated department BC Correspondent

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, including policies, procedures, and technical guides.
  • Participate in organizational IT initiatives and projects.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve site IT operations.

  • 20+ years of combined industry, management and technology experience, preferably within the IT Services industry dealing with Financial Services Fortune 500 companies
