Fund Accountant
Requirements:
- Finance and Accounting or similar fields of study
- Over 1 to 5 years (mid/senior) of experience in Fund Accounting or Asset Management
- Fluent English
- Proficient knowledge of Operations and Processes in Fund Accounting and Asset Services
- High level of Operations and Process knowledge in the area of Market & Financing Services, as well as Risk Management
- Very good communication & teamwork skills
- Proficient command of MS Office (very good knowledge of Excel)
- Certificates of ACCA, CFA, CIMA - nice to have
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Net Asset Value calculations, ensure accurate and timely NAV delivery to clients, and investigate exceptions
- Book all transactions related to the fund, review and analyze instructions, and reconcile accounted movements against reports from counterparties
- Ensure safekeeping of client assets, investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Respond to client inquiries, provide timely and accurate information, and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations, deal with corporate actions, OTC, and collateral products, and maintain accurate accounting records
- Serve as a point of contact for process queries, build strong relationships with business partners, and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Participate in onboarding of new client funds, support business growth, and ensure quality and compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Act as a point of contact for various stakeholders, support less experienced colleagues, and contribute to a high-performing team
