Job Title: Senior Performance Engineer

Position Purpose: 

We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our digital platforms across the entire software delivery lifecycle. The role goes beyond traditional performance testing. You will contribute to building a performance engineering capability, embedding performance practices into delivery teams while supporting the industrialization of performance testing across the organization. You will be part of the Performance team within Testing & IA4IT Center of Expertise, you will collaborate with Product Teams, Cloud Engineering, and QA communities to guarantee that applications are production-ready, resilient, and scalable by design.

Responsibilities

1. Performance Engineering (Shi-Le Approach)

    • Design and implement performance testing strategies aligned with product architecture.

    • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

    • Define performance acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements (NFR).

    • Develop automated load, stress, and endurance test scenarios.

    • Promote early performance validation during development phases

2. Reliability & Production Readiness

    • Analyze system behavior under load and identify performance bottlenecks.

    • Work with engineering teams to improve scalability and resilience.

    • Contribute to production readiness assessments before releases.

    • Support definition and monitoring of performance indicators (latency, throughput, resource usage).

    • Collaborate with operations teams to validate system stability.

3. Performance Testing Industrialization

    • Contribute to the evolution of a shared performance testing framework and tooling.

    • Standardize performance testing practices across teams.

    • Provide reusable templates, datasets, and pipelines.

    • Support teams through coaching and best practices adoption.

    • Participate in defining enterprise performance testing guidelines

Contributing Responsibilities

        o Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter or equivalent).
