Want to lead the Agile transformation of Belgium’s largest bank? If you’re ready to take ownership of your expertise and shape the future of our teams, you could be our next Chapter Lead Product Owner/Product Expert within the Tribe Customer Servicing & Efficiency. Within our Tribe, our multidisciplinary squads blend business and IT expertise to enhances operational efficiency while elevating customer and employee experiences by delivering seamless remote interactions, highly automated workflows and processes, and robust fraud protection, all powered by technology and strategic collaborations.
AND IN DETAIL
As Chapter Lead for Product Owners & Product Experts, you’ll report directly to the Tribe Owner and play a dual role: people manager and expertise leader. You’ll also be part of the tribe leadership team and the Chapter Lead community.
Your responsibilities as People Manager:
- Develop talent: Foster skill growth, career planning, and knowledge management for your chapter members.
- Build the future team: Co-create a sourcing strategy to meet upcoming challenges and recruit top talent, ensuring smooth onboarding.
- Strengthen partnerships: Maintain transparent communication with resource suppliers in our value-based collaborations.
- Drive Agile maturity: Guide your team in mastering Agile ways of working and translate development goals into Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
- Provide feedback: Offer continuous coaching, conduct annual evaluations, and make compensation decisions.
- Shape tribe culture: Contribute to daily operations, represent your chapter in leadership discussions, and champion an open feedback culture built on trust and communication.
- Sponsor communities: Act as a sponsor for Communities of Practice (CoPs) within the tribe.
Your responsibilities as Expert:
- Lead with insights: Proactively recommend improvements based on your domain expertise.
- Collaborate for growth: Work closely with squads, Product Owners, Agile coaches, and stakeholders to refine tools, skills, and ways of working.
- Drive continuous improvement: Structure and steer initatives that enhance performance.
- Translate strategy into action: Identify strategic development priorities for your chapter and execute them.
- Create a thriving environment: Empower Product Owners & Product Experts to excel and grow continuously.
- Connect the dots: Understand the broader ecosystem to prioritize the CoP agenda, embed knowledge, and apply it in daily coaching.
- Be the go-to reference: Serve as the trusted guide for your chapter members—without needing to be the technical expert yourself.
YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES
- Proven experience: At least 2 years in a similar role, preferably with a track record in coaching and mentoring.
- Deep understanding: Familiar with the Product Owner & Product Expert roles, always striving for quality and excellence.
- Strong communicator: Skilled at delivering clear, constructive feedback and collaborating effectively.
- Agile advocate: Well-versed in Agile teams and methodologies, with a knack for structuring, organizing, and driving results.
- Innovation mindset: Passionate about process improvement and forward-thinking solutions.
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch and/or French (written and spoken), with strong English skills.
