Job Title: Windows Workstation Packaging Specialist
Department: BNPP Fortis (APS) – Digital Working
About Business line/Function: In delegation to the Group Filière Digital Working and conform to its Operating Model, the mission of the Filière Digital Working BE is to deliver Digital Working devices and services to users, to ensure the quality of the devices and services and to support the users in their digital working experience.
Clients expect to have access to the collaborative tools anywhere, anytime, fast, in a secure way and with confidence. We deliver and support all businesses and users of BNP Paribas in Belgium. It represents roughly 20.000 users.
Our goal is to ensure business and users are:
· Easily provided with the tools they need to work and collaborate digitally.
· Satisfied with these tools by providing technical and functional support on the field and remotely through “Le Comptoir”
Filière Digital Working BE is responsible for the following Services
· IT User Support Services (service desk)
· Field (proximity) Support (end-user hardware)
· End-user hardware delivery
· Printing Services
· Remote Application Delivery (Citrix & HVD)
· Workplace Services (workstation, thin client & collaborative tooling).
These services are delivered by external suppliers and/or in collaboration with BNPP IT Group.
In our Agile organization, you will be working as IT Production Engineer in the squad Workplace Design, Evolution, Deployment
Position Purpose:
BNP Paribas Fortis IT department is currently working in Agile mode, which offers a challenging and motivating environment where teams and employees are empowered to manage their own technical domain.
We are looking for a technical coordinator to manage the end-to-end software packaging process for Fortis workstations to join our IT Squad.
You will be responsible for:
- Act as the bridge between Fortis users, offshore ITGP packagers, and IT teams to ensure smooth delivery of software packages.
- Validate, troubleshoot, and deploy packages via Enterprise Store, SCCM, and Podcom.
- Resolve blockers (licenses, technical issues) and provide user guidance on packaging processes.
Ideal candidate: Hands-on experience with software packaging (MSI/EXE), troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Fluent in English (required)
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities can be consolidated into the following areas:
1. User Support & Guidance
- Guide users on how to submit packaging requests (required values, approvals, documentation).
- Advise users on existing packages in the Enterprise Store to avoid duplication.
- Clarify packaging process steps and timelines for requestors.
2. Request Intake & Validation
- Open and manage a buffer for incoming packaging requests (prioritization, tracking).
- Validate requests for completeness (e.g., source files, dependencies, licenses).
- Transfer approved requests to ITGP Packaging Coordination via Enterprise Store.
3. Coordination with Stakeholders
- Act as the primary contact between Fortis requestors and offshore ITGP packagers (clarifications, follow-ups).
- Escalate blockers to ITG or application owners (e.g., license requests, SCCM conflicts).
- Coordinate with external application owners (primarily in France) for Fortis-requested packages.
4. Technical Validation & Troubleshooting
- Organize validation of delivered packages for functionality, dependencies, and SCCM compatibility.
- Determine if app issues stem from packaging errors or other causes (e.g., user environment).
5. Deployment & Publication
- Publish new/updated packages in Fortis’ DWS (Digital Working Store).
- Distribute packages via Podcom (by waves or targeted machine lists).
- Generate and share installation reports for tracking and compliance.
6. Incident & Decommissioning Handling
- Contribute to incidents resolution, related to package installation failures (collaboration with ITG).
- Process decommissioning requests for obsolete packages (initiated by Fortis clients).
7. Process Improvement
- Identify recurring issues (e.g., missing inputs, common errors) and propose optimizations.
- Monitor of package lifecycle.
- Maintain documentation (e.g., FAQs, how-to guides) for users and ITGP teams.

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)
Mandatory Key Technical Experience:
· 3+ years of experience in packaging, deployment, and management of Windows systems in an enterprise environment.
· Knowledge and understanding of Windows operating systems
· Knowledge and understanding of Windows security principles including authentication and authorization.
· Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide technical support.
· Knowledge of end-user tools (hard- and software)
· Experience with Windows system deployment as System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM, Intune)
· Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
· Familiar with various IT Systems.

· Proven experience in large enterprise environments, with strong organizational skills – as a coordinator, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders and ensure structured follow-up, including clear status updates and progress tracking.
