V.I.E – AI Project Officer – Lisbonne, M/F

What does the job involve on a day-to-day basis?

As a V.I.E AI Project Officer, you will join a transversal team responsible for imagining, designing and delivering artificial intelligence use cases end-to-end, from identifying business needs to the operational deployment of solutions.

You will work on concrete, high business-value topics such as improving sales team productivity, automated content generation and information extraction, developing copilot-type tools for front-office teams, process automation, as well as monitoring the adoption and performance of deployed solutions.

Your role will involve coordinating all stakeholders — business teams, data and IT teams, as well as risk and compliance functions — to ensure business impact, high-quality deliverables and effective change management.

Based in Lisbon, you will evolve in an international environment, with regular interactions with teams located in Paris, London and New York. You will be exposed to a demanding and dynamic setting that combines a high level of autonomy, fast-paced execution, high standards and rapid deliveries, at the heart of strategic projects for the Group.

This V.I.E experience will enable you to develop a rare expertise at the intersection of financial markets and artificial intelligence, with direct exposure to front-to-back transformation initiatives and the digitalisation of CIB Global Markets activities.

Over the course of the assignment, you will strengthen highly valued skills in digital and AI project management, internal product management, cross-functional coordination and change management within a demanding international environment. Depending on collaboration quality and available opportunities, this experience may serve as a stepping stone towards roles such as AI or Digital Product Manager, Project Manager on innovation programmes, Data and AI-oriented Business Analyst, or Use Case Manager within an AI, Data or Innovation department of the BNP Paribas Group.

Benefits of joining us

Set by ministerial decree, the V.I.E allowance is paid monthly and consists of two components: a fixed allowance shared by all V.I.E participants, and a geographic allowance that varies depending on the country — and sometimes the city — of assignment. This allowance is reviewed quarterly.

It’s your turn to convince us!

You hold a Master’s degree (equivalent to a five-year higher education qualification) from an engineering school, business school or equivalent university programme, with a specialisation in artificial intelligence, data, computer science, finance or digital project management.

You have strong foundations in artificial intelligence, particularly generative AI, as well as in project management and agile methodologies. Your interest in financial markets, your ability to understand complex business challenges and translate them into concrete solutions are key success factors for this role. Curious, rigorous and results-oriented, you enjoy working in demanding, collaborative and international environments that require autonomy, analytical skills and a strong team spirit.
