About the job

  • Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Senior Analyst is a key resources of the activity in Cost Accounting Operations (CAO) as integrating parts of the teams, contributing for the roll out of the everyday business as well to the sharing of knowledge among the CAO teams. The AP/AR Senior Analyst can develop their activity in the different CAO teams and shall perform the activity according to the procedures in place. Responsible for providing support to Management in the preparation of reports and documentation, and participating in meetings with Management and customers as needed

Your Main Activities Are

  • Accounts Payable Management: Ensure correct booking of invoices (General Ledger Account, Value-Added Tax (VAT) rate, Cost Centre, Purchase Order); assure invoice information completeness; analyse and communicate discrepancy between purchase orders and invoices. Additionally, assist the Management on the preparation of reporting documents and participate in meetings with the management and/or customers when needed
  • Assist the Management on the preparation of reporting documents. Participate in meetings with the management and / or costumers when needed
  • Invoice Quality Control: Identify, complete, and request missing information found during the processes of dematerialization of paper invoices performed by external company and of all invoices received via PDF. Analyse and perform according to procedures all workflow for invoice rejection
  • Accounting Bookings and Fixed Assets: Perform General Accounting bookings, month-end closing and reporting activities including journal entries, and periodical controls analysis, reconciliations, fixed assets bookings, and prepare related reporting
  • Accounting Controls: Perform periodical controls analysis and reconciliations, in line with corporate procedures, prepare VAT and other tax reporting and controls, and analyse and reconcile balance-sheet accounts
  • Payments and Bank Reconciliations: Generate and control payment proposals, perform Bank Reconciliations and payment reconciliation with invoices and bank statements including exception handling

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance and Accounting 
  • From 3 to 4 years of experience in Accounting and Finance 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Pack (Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Proficient in Financial Software ERP
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to share/pass on knowledge 
  • Attention to detail/rigor
  • Organisational skills 
  • Ability to collaborate/Teamwork
  • Ability to synthetise/simplify
  • Communication skills
