Nickel
Nickel is a start-up belonging to the BNP Paribas Group. We are a company with a very clear purpose: our mission is to fi ght against fi nancial exclusion through a simple, face-to-face and accessible service. Nickel offers an account that is open to everyone, without any income condition or linkage. We already number close to 850 employees in Paris, Nantes, Madrid, Lisbon, Brussels and Berlin, with a young, dynamic and multicultural atmosphere!
What do we do?
We offer a payment account, with a national IBAN and a Mastercard debit card that the customer can open at a lottery or tobacco shop without leaving the neighborhood. This unique business model already has more than 4 million customers and more than 12,000 points of sale.

MISSION
- Define and execute the 360º communication & marketing strategy and development plan for Nickel Spain: digital, offline, PR, social networks
- Define and execute annual communication plan for both clients and points of sale
- Perform regular marketing analysis and research in order to adapt our strategy and positioning to the spanish market
- Select and manage local agencies (especially on branding, media & PR)
- Build a strong, leading and aspirational local brand being coherent with Nickel overall positioning
- Train and manage the local marketing & communication team in order to ensure the quality of their work, motivation, well-being and adhesion to Nickel’s values and mission
- Manage and steer the marketing budget
- Ensure the respect of procedures, and a correct management of risks and compliance related topics, especially the ones related to Advertising Regulation and AML & TF
- Ensure proper optimization of mobilized resources
- As a Codir permanent member, contribute to the definition and implementation of local strategy, local policies and initiatives, with a cross functional mindset
- At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role together with the potential and attitude required to learn and grow in the company
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or relevant field of study
- Mandatory proficient in English and Spanish, both spoken and written
- Advanced oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, and to manage time and multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables
- Comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics, data-driven decision-making
- A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Proven experience on managing online and offline campaigns as well as PR plans
- Proficiency in French will be much appreciated
