The position at a glance
The Enterprise Services (ES) department encompasses 5 teams: (i) Procurement, (ii) Third Party Management Office, (iii) Workplace & Corporate Services, (iv) ES Transformation and (v) the Data Office for CIB Americas.
We are looking for a motivated intern to join the Enterprise Services team and contribute to a transversal initiative aimed at enhancing visibility, coordination and value creation across data and digital initiatives.
In this role, you will collaborate with managers, project leads and teams across Enterprise Services to gain an understanding of existing data and digital projects and project management methods, identify opportunities for optimization, and support the identification of future initiatives aligned with business needs.
This position offers broad exposure to multiple business domains and provides an excellent opportunity to develop analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
In detail
As part of a transversal initiative within Enterprise Services, the intern will support efforts to better understand the structure and leverage existing data and digital projects across the teams.
The role involves close interaction with a wide range of stakeholders to gather information, understand current practiced and contribute to the identification of opportunities that support operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a structured overview on project management and automation initiatives across Enterprise Services.
- Engaging with managers, project leads and teams to understand business needs, current processes and data usage.
- Contributing to the creation of a centralized view or repository of solutions to help identify overlaps, gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Supporting the identification of potential use cases related to process optimization, automation and digitalization.
- Structuring findings into clear, consolidated materials and supporting discussions with management and key stakeholders.
- Contributing to the definition of recommended tools, solutions and best practices to improve process efficiency across teams and supporting the creation of clear guidelines and reference materials to promote consistent and effective use of digital and automation tooling.
Work conditions: This position provides for standard working conditions in an office and a normal work schedule from Monday to Friday.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
- Student completing their Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Business, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in analytics, digitalization and process improvement from a business perspective.
- Knowledge of or exposure to data and digital tools ecosystem, such as Power BI, Python, and Microsoft Tools (e.g SharePoint, Excel, Power Point) with an interest in exploring the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and profiles.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken*.
- A learning mindset, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions and explore new topics.
- Creativity and an innovative approach, with the ability to think beyond existing processes and suggest new ideas.
- Strong attention to detail, while maintaining a high-level, transversal view.
*Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Professional working proficiency in French and English languages are required.
