About Business line/Function:

OFS NEO

 

OFS is a general ledger accounting platform. The main objective of the project is to develop new user interfaces and related APIs for OFS general ledger. This application is the main general ledger for BNPP and global rollout of this application is now initiated.

Position Purpose

The candidate will need to perform business analysis and requirement gathering for accounting application. Candidate who has worked on general ledger system with proven experience and good working knowledge of core investment banking businesses and financial systems would be a good fit. This role involves team management and project/activity management. 

Project follows agile scrum methodology; BA and developers form the scrum. 

 

Responsibilities

 

Direct Responsibilities

-         Analysing user requirements and business processes,

-         Liaising with users and internal counterparts from Finance and IT

-         Collaborating with Paris central team on project planning.

-         Management reporting

-         Liaising with end-users for requirements gathering, UAT and migration testing up to successful delivery of the expected solution

-         Developing functional specifications for delivery to IT

-         Ensuring IT developments are in line with the functional specifications, 

-         Performing integration testing and User Acceptance Testing,

-         Ensuring on-time quality delivery of all activities assigned

-         Responsible for local line management of a team of business analysts and software developers

-         Responsible for tracking and managing the ISPL BA team and deliverables of ISPL BAs

-         Responsible for local oversight of developers, working with onshore development managers/leads who retain responsibility for allocation and monitoring of technical deliveries”

-         Providing users with Subject Matter expertise for finance systems

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical :

-        Good knowledge of accounting concepts, general ledger and capital market. Good understanding of the products used by an Investment Bank Foreign, Interest Rates derivatives, securities, Repos, Credit derivatives

-        Comfortable with basic office tools (MS Word, Outlook, Teams)

-        Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

-        Team and activities management 

-        Good know-how of agile scrum

-        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-        Proven organizational skills with excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills

-        Good systems skills, good understanding of IT databases (although programming skills are not required)
