Job Title: AM - Trade Support
Department: Markets Operations ( FXMM‑OTCD)
About Business line/Function: The FX MM OTC business line drives the origination, execution and post‑trade processing of all over‑the‑counter foreign‑exchange and money‑market transactions across the bank’s global client base. It delivers end‑to‑end trade lifecycle services—including confirmation, collateral management, DVP settlement and exception handling—while adhering to the highest standards of risk control, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Leveraging a unified technology platform and a worldwide network of clearing partners, the team ensures seamless, timely and secure settlement outcomes that underpin BNP Paribas’s liquidity and pricing capabilities in the FX‑MM markets.
Position Purpose:
The EQD trade support is one of the main contributor of the bank in term of ensuring the accuracy of the transaction initiated by the trading after their execution. In his very specific position in the operation chain the trade support will liaise with several teams such as FO, documentation, settlement BO, collateral, PnL reporting factory, anti-fraud, compliance, IT, accounting etc
Our mandate is to transform the post execution chain into a safer process with a harmonized and industrialized platform by increasing efficiency and reducing the operation risk. Our mandate is also driven by the satisfactory of our external and internal clients
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
The EQD Trade Support officer is directly responsible for all the transactions booked in the EQD Front to back chain and guaranty the position of the bank
Trade validation
Trade event processing : Position and trades adjustment, such as increase decrease, corporate action, life cycle event, expiry , assignation, Risk monitoring, contribute to remediation plan, escalate issue to his management all issues faced
Contributing Responsibilities
· Direct relationships with the front office / back office colleagues.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the globe in Front, Back and Middle Office
· Strong working and open relationship with local management
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· IB Equity Operations experience preferred, essentially in Trade Support functions
· Competency with MS Suite, especially Excel, and the ability to learn multiple programs quickly
· Knowledge of and an interest in the financial markets (derivative product knowledge especially swaps/ FX/ F&O)
· Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of a team as well as individually
· Comfortable working across various groups including Sales, Trading, Accounting, Technology & other MO Teams
· Prior middle office or operational experience is a must
· Strong control focus and aptitude (both financial and operational).
Specific Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or a related field.
· Minimum 7 years of operations experience
· Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high pressure, deadline driven environment.
