VP Transaction Banking Product Manager
Main responsibilities:
Product Development: Develop and enhance Trade and Cash Management products in Brazil (Trade Finance, Supply Chain, Agribusiness Loans, Payments, Collections, Liquidity):
- Manage the development of new products and enhancements requested on existing products.
- Analyze global products and channels available in BNPP to define a product strategy and roadmap.
Launch, Implementation, and Monitoring of New Products:
- Define and document business requirements.
- Build product guides.
- Coordinate and guide IT development teams to achieve desired levels.
- Manage enhancements, bug fixes, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare marketing documents.
- Define standard legal documentation with the Legal team.
- Support the Implementation Management team in designing and implementing tailored solutions and/or revising legal documentation as needed.
- Write memos on new activities and liaise with all functions for committee approval.
- Monitor conditions with functions and manage periodic product reviews.
- Liaise with Regional/Global product managers.
Competitor Benchmarking and Regulatory Analysis:
- Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify gaps, strengths, and market positioning.
- Participate in Bank Associations meetings and monitor any changes requested by regulators that might impact products and/or create business opportunities.
Support to Sales Teams:
- Provide training, demos, and support to sales colleagues.
- Assist sales colleagues in responding to RFPs.
- Participate in RFP and client meetings when required.
- Provide guidance to Middle Office & Implementation colleagues on mandate implementations.
- Participate in customer and industry events.
P&L and Reporting:
- Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs for the product portfolio.
- Submit regular progress reports to the Head of Transaction Banking Brazil and to the Heads of GTS/Cash Management Products Americas.
Position Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Business Management or related
- Previous experience in product management, preferably in Trade Finance and/or Cash Management.
- Good understanding of banking IT systems and operational processes.
- Attributes: Team Player, Leadership qualities, Positive Attitude, Innovative thinking, ability to take ownership of tasks assigned, and diligently follow up on them.
- Fluency in Portugues and English
