About team: The French Desk sits within BNP Paribas Bank Polska’s Corporate Coverage function, a multi-corridor structure that mirrors the Bank’s global footprint. Multinational Corporate Coverage Director is the local anchor of BNP Paribas’s global relationship model in Poland, managing the Polish subsidiaries of French-headquartered groups. The director owns the French-corridor portfolio end-to-end and and is responsible for the Strategy the Relationship Managers will adopt with their local clients.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the development of strategies enabling the bank to establish new client relationships and acquire new customers.
- Acquires new client relationships and develops existing ones within the assigned area.
- Responsible for achieving assigned targets and tasks, including sales objectives within the assigned area.
- Collaborates with internal organizational units of the bank and the BNP Paribas Group to implement tasks and achieve set objectives.
- Actively represents the bank in terms of information flow and external relationships with entities outside the bank, within the scope of international clients in the assigned area.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with external entities supporting the operations of international companies in Poland (chambers of commerce, associations, etc.), taking into account the business and reputational value of these relationships.
- Acquires new local clients and supports their acquisition at the level of the BNP Paribas Group.
- Collects information on global and local client relationships and prospects.
- Shares responsibility for the quality of the credit portfolio.
- Collaborates with foreign branches of BNP Paribas regarding the provision of information about the bank’s organization and offerings, locally within the area of international clients, particularly those in the assigned region.
- Participates in ongoing work of the Department and the Corporate and SME Banking Area.
- Adheres to the bank’s rules and policies in relations with international corporate clients in the assigned area.
Requirements
- Knowledge of banking products and the bank’s operating principles;
- Analytical thinking skills;
- Experience in establishing new client relationships and acquiring customers;
- Strong communication skills;
- Creativity in working with clients and teams;
- Ability to represent the bank through presentations, participation in official events and capacity for business collaboration in a multicultural environment;
- proficiency in multitasking
- Requirement for ability to work under time pressure and excellent prioritization skills
- Fluent proficiency in French
