Job Title: Project Manager - AI for Operations

Department: TO Transformation

About Business line/Function: 

Product Control is part of COCE (Client Operating Centre of Excellence), performing multiple Middle Office functions. Product Control have 6 verticals - P&L and Valuation Controls, OTC Trade Validation, Securities Trade Validation & Documentation, OTC Documentation, Trading & Portfolio Control and Position Management. Team works very closely with Trading, Sales, Business Managers and various FtB teams like Back Office, Regional Finance and COO community. 

Position Purpose: 

AI for Ops is launching a Global AI for Operations programme.

The ProjectManager will own the end‑to‑end delivery of AI solution deployments across the Market Operations departments, ensuring they are built, tested, validated, and rolled out in strict accordance with the programme’s governance framework.

You will work in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment, partnering with data scientists, domain experts, IT teams, and senior business sponsors. Success will be measured by on‑time, on‑budget delivery, adoption rates, and the tangible business benefits (cost‑savings, risk reducing / accuracy, turnaround‑time) realized by each solution.

Develop & maintain the detailed AI implementation roadmap (phases, milestones, dependencies) for each Market‑Operations domain.

Master schedule (MS‑Project / Smartsheet) with critical path highlighted.

Coordinate the design, build, test, and deployment of AI solutions (APIs, , Logic test, UAT, UI integrations).

Release packages delivered to Production with full QA sign‑off.

Manage day‑to‑day project activities (task assignments, issue & risk logs, change requests).

Updated project artefacts, risk‑mitigation actions executed within SLA.

Control programme budget and resource planning, reporting variance and forecasting.

Monthly financial dashboard (budget vs. actual).

Drive post‑implementation monitoring (KPIs, user feedback, lessons learnt workshop) and schedule.

Quarterly performance reports and continuous‑improvement backlog.

 

2.2 Governance & Sponsorship Management

Secure and manage senior sponsorship – keep sponsors informed of strategic alignment, risk and dependencies, escalation and ROI.

 2.3 Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Build strong relationships with functional owners (Market Operations) and ensure their active participation throughout the project.

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Understand the fundamentals of machine‑learning pipelines, data‑quality concepts enough to ask the right questions and translate technical outcomes into business impact.
  • Possess deep knowledge of market‑operations processes (trade capture, settlement, valuation, client‑service workflows) to identify automation opportunities in order to prioritize use‑cases.

Specific Qualifications:

Education : University degree (Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related). Advanced degree (MSc, MBA)

Experience :

Project Management 5+years of end‑to‑end delivery experience in financial services. Demonstrated ability to set up and run governance frameworks, steering committees and sponsor relationships.

  • Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Market Operations – trading, settlement, securities‑processing, FXMM‑OTC, and P&L / valuation functions. Experience in at least one or more of the four domains is a plus
