Job Title: Java Back End Developer

ATCI serves as Arval’s dedicated IT hub, closely collaborating with the onshore Arval IT teams to implement global technology strategy. It plays a key role in delivering IT solutions across countries while driving execution from India. The center strengthens Arval’s digital transformation by aligning its capabilities with international IT needs.
Arval is car renting company with Services, for professional entities and more recently, opened to retail market. Serving 30 countries with the goal to be the best in class both for customer satisfaction and innovation (Partnership, new technologies, etc…)
Arval IT is the IT department of the company. Finance & Risk Tribe oversees developing and maintaining all the IT assets in relationship with Finance and Risk activity from the company. It is composed of 3 Products: Finance (2 Squads: Accounting system for G4 and Accounting system for Dynamos countries), Analytical Finance and Risk Management (3 squads: Securitization, Regulatory Finance and Risk Finance) and Payment & Transversal Platforms (3 squads: International Systems & Procurement managing the accounting interpretation, the Group Controlling Consolidations & the Procurement IT, Billing managing the Billing activities and Collection & Payments managing the debt collection activities + the e-Payments solutions).
Position Purpose:
Engineer / Developer is a member of the development team who is responsible for the development of applications.
As a Java Developer, they will be responsible for developing and maintaining the applications using Java for both internal and external users.
Technical skills required on Back, API Rest, cloud (docker / Kubernetes), reporting and MongoDB.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Take charge Jira tickets on Java developments. Be part of the Agile squad “Billing” and contribute to usual ceremonies of the life of the team.
· Develop the need for the squad/product
· Delivery of solutions (predominantly code) to a high standard in line with requirements, measured by minimal defects
· Contribute actively to the process of continuous improvement and innovation
Contributing Responsibilities
· Participate to structuring EIR (electronic invoice) projects for France and Spain countries at first, developed from scratch in BNPP private cloud environment. Other countries may follow. The context of these projects is about developing an app (called Billing module and its related flows) concentrating on the incoming and outgoing invoices EIR flows to allow Arval to interact with its digital partners and government offices.
· Contribute to Arval IT Develop
· Taking an active approach to development of higher quality and increased maintainability of business solutions.
· Active participation in stand ups and other sprint activities to support other squad members in addition to performing their own work in full to a high standard.
Business and/or technical skills:
Autonomous, involved, team mindset. Knowing invoices processes would be appreciated.
