For our IT Tribe Transversal Capabilities we are currently looking for a Functional Analyst (m/f/x)

 

Your role :

  • Requirements & Stakeholders
    1. Partner with cross-functional teams (Ops, Legal, IT, Business) to gather and document requirements (Functional & Non functional).
    2. Translate needs into functional specs (Use cases) and user stories (SAFe).
  • Process & Integration
    1. Map AS-IS/TO-BE workflows (BPMN/UML) and perform gap analysis.
    2. Design system integrations.
  • Technical Design
    1. Draft functional designs (e.g., KYC workflows), API contracts, and audit-ready docs.
  • Testing & QA
    1. Contribute to the Test Strategy definition and validate test cases and data consistency 
  • Middleware & Alignment
    1. Optimize middleware (Camunda) and bridge business/technical logic (e.g., GDPR compliance).


Your profile :

  • 3+ years as a Functional/Technical Analyst, with proven experience in system integrations or digital transformation, ideally within the financial sector.
  • Technical fluency:
    • APIs (design, test/mock, documentation).
    • System modelling (UML/Sequence/Activity/flowchart).
    • Validation patterns (Data definition, RegEx).
    • Ability to read code (SQL, Java JSON/YAML, basic scripting).
    • Interpret architecture diagrams, technical negotiation.
    • Understand Java, Object oriented principles.
    • Understand Cloud integration principles.
    • Agile/Scrum Framework, 3 amigos raffinements.
  • Stakeholder management:
    • Experience working with IT Security and external vendors
    • Ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences.
  • Tools: Bruno, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, data flow diagramming tools (Draw.io).
  • Languages: Fluent in French or Dutch; English (mandatory).
