The Test Analyst is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the full testing lifecycle for the DiligenSE & SED applications. Acting as a bridge between development, product, and business teams, the role ensures that testing activities are aligned with agile Scrum delivery, that test artefacts are of high quality, and that test outcomes are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and adapt the test strategy according to project priorities and risk assessments
- Produce detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
- Identify and document test data requirements and manage test‑data creation
- Write clear, reusable test cases that can be understood and executed by anyone without prior application knowledge
- Structure the test backlog in ALM Octane and keeping it consistent with JIRA
- Execute tests, record results, and ensure reproducibility of outcomes
- Perform test case capitalization for regression cycles
- Manage defect lifecycle (creation, triage, closure) using JIRA/Octane
- Produce regular KPI‑based reporting on test progress, quality metrics, and test closure
- Select test cases for automation and support the automation team (Cucumber & Selenium preferred)
- Explore AI‑enhanced testing concepts where applicable
- Contribute to the evolution of testing processes, best practices, and tooling
- Participate in all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming).
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the testing field
- Experience with testing tools such as Octane, Jira, Confluence
- Knowledge of testing standards and procedures (ISTQB, etc.)
- Knowledge of all testing levels (functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity)
- Previous experience defining test strategies, test plans, and managing test data
- Proven track record of test documentation and test case reuse
- Strong interest in data management and data driven testing
- Basic Unix command line skills for data preparation tasks
- Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies
- Previous exposure to test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium) is a plus
- Ability to investigate and incorporate AI related testing approaches when needed
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively and clearly
Other skills
- Advanced level of English (both written and spoken)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in presenting findings to technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strong priority and time management capabilities
- Proactive, anticipatory attitude with a focus on communication and coordination
