About Business line/Function: |
The IT Department is functionally responsible for the IT structures of the companies of the BNL BC Group and coordinates the IT community of the BNPP Group onwards with the aim of obtaining all possible synergies of purpose, ensuring full operational consistency and enabling the digital transformation of our Group As part of the IT Department of BNL The Application Production main responsibility is to provide applications production support services and ensure the evolution of server and cloud infrastructure. A team is setup in India to be closer to the Italian Application Production Team and BNL Application development teams with which we are working.
Leveraging BNL BNP Paribas Paris teams’ expertise and ISPL IT skills, the goal is to ensure the resolution of infrastructure obsolescence, respecting the application roadmap.

Position Purpose | |||||
Inside the Application Production team is included also the Application Maintenance to support and maintain the functionality of two BNL applications: - ZL - Architettura Tecnica NBA - FX – Service Repository This team provide support for development, analyze and propose solutions and on Business’ requests. He will oversee small development activities. He will also propose solutions to improve the performance and prevent failures on managed applications.

Responsibilities | |||||
Direct Responsibilities
· Coordinate closely with Application Production Teams’s and also all other BNL BNP Paribas IT teams (Incident coordination, Security, Infrastructure, Development teams, etc.)
· For a predefined applications scope take care of: o Ticket Management o Propose solutions to improve an application o Incident Management (including problem determination) o Request Management o Change Management
· Ensure that SLA targets are met for above activities · Handover to Italian teams if knowledge and skills are not available in ISPL
Contributing Responsibilities · Contribute to the definition of procedures and processes necessary for the team · Help build team spirit and integrate into BNL BNP Paribas culture · Contribute to incidents analysis and associated problem management · Contribute to the regular activity reporting and KPI calculation · Contribute to the knowledge transfer with BNL Data Platform team · Contribute to the acquisition by ISPL team of new skills & knowledge to expand its scope

Technical & Behavioral Competencies | |||||
· Fundamental skills: o Deep knowledge about JAVA framework. o Basic knowledge about Mainframe usage COBOL, TSO, ISPF/S, Scheduler , JCL o Familiarity with database technology is required (such as: IBM DB2, Oracle DB , MS SQL Server, Teradata); o SQL Languange in order to execute basic scripts and queries. · Have basic experience with: o Service Now ticketing system
· Nice to have: o General IT infrastructure knowledge o Knowledge of Requirements Collection, Analysis, Design, Development and Test activity o Knowledge of Frontend Technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript) applied to a Frontend Framework (e.g. Angular) o Familiarity with DevOps tools including Ansible & Python o Continuous improvement approaches
