Position Purpose:
Technical Lead on API/API management platform activities
You will deliver API assets and support subsidiaries in their API transformation path using :
- Apigee API Gateway as OnPremise and Hybrid platform
- Devportal for API based on Pronovix solution
- BNP eco-system tooling to setupurls, certificates
- Homemade solution to generate API assets
You as technical Lead on API/M scope will guarantee the API assets delivery on BNP Paribas group Apigee platforms following requirements from Cardif Subsidiaries in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
You will also have to assist technical leaders from subsidiaries to make sure about the end-to-end integration in a complex eco-system based on on-premises and cloud platforms and provide guidance to people not yet accustomed with API landscape.
You will work with and report technical activities to BNP Paribas Cardif corporate team acting as API First COE and as Senior position you will be responsible to coach newcomers at ISPL team dealing with API topics as build and run activities.
You will organize and keep tracks of every activities you are responsible of and provide weekly feedback to API First COE team, so to classify/organize requests and topics to make sure about priorities and importance to take in consideration .
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Implement assets on Apigee platform to proxify backend APIs
- Guaranteeing the eradication of problems regarding overall integration between parties involving APIs
- Making sure API security is aligned with security recommendations
- Assist subsidiaries during partner onboarding phase
- Promote API governance to first-time subsidiaries assistance
- Review API inventory alignment according to ongoing activites.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Providing technical and functional support to users during build phase
- Realizing the technical integration of applications based on existing products and services to reduce
implementation times
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Knowledge of ITIL
- General IT infrastructure knowledge
- Knowledge and experience with Apigee API Management or any other API Management solution
- Knowledge of REST API design
- Good written and spoken English
- Speaking one of these languages will be appreciated: French
- Measure and identify areas for improving Quality and overall Delivery
- Able to communicate efficiently
Specific Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience along with Bachelor's Degree
