Responsibilities:
- Execution and distribution of ECM transactions across AxJ including IPOs, blocks, convertible bonds and rights issues
- Maintaining relationships with institutional investors for wallcrossing, sub-underwriting, market intel and demand generation
- Track and analyze investor feedback throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Conduct financial analysis and industry research on ECM activity (IPOs, blocks, follow-ons and rights issuances) to support deal execution
- Stay informed on market trends, current events, and key developments impacting equity markets
- Maintain good relationships with other syndicate desks
- Work closely with ECM, IBA and Global Market
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Contributions:
- The main purpose of this role is to assist with syndicate to client relationships, working with other syndicate desks and the execution of ECM deals. This position will also support the equity linked team
Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance or related disciplines with excellent academic results
- 5+ years of prior experience in ECM (ECM Syndicate is preferred)
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and advanced skills in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Language proficiency and eligibility for required work authorization in the assignment location
