Business Overview:
BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking, IT Production, is a transversal function which provides core infrastructure and services to all BNP Paribas businesses in the Americas.
Within the Infra domain, Record Keeping domain oversees video, voice, trading voice and recording of all channels. The mission is to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient availability of systems and retention of voice and electronic communications records, supporting business operations, risk management and regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities:
The Head of Record Keeping is responsible for ensuring the alignment of services with the regulatory & internal requirements, driving optimization and automation, maintaining impeccable service conditions and providing appropriate proximity support to end users. She/he will also ensure that the solutions provided are governed, controlled, and documented within the region.
With a strong knowledge of IT production processes and technical Voice & e-Communications record keeping solutions and with good popularization and restitution skills, the individual should be able to work in a global environment in a demanding context with strong regulatory constraints.
- Gather the Record Keeping (RK) business needs of different users (Compliance, CIB CCCO, CIB ITO RMO, Voice & e-Communications channels Product Owners), architecture enhancements/evolutions, and evaluate their impacts and risks.
- Understand the technological trends and practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies/solutions and contribute to the technology watch studies.
- Participate in the project, RFPs/investment, and architecture committees.
- Contribute to the definition, implementation, and review (functional & technical) of RK processes, control plan, transversal governance and reporting.
- Participate in the definition of technical solutions, integrate production and infrastructure requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of production.
- Maintain the RK systems & communication channels in operational conditions (availability, obsolescence, …)
- Ensure the alignment of solutions with the architecture guidelines/standards/principles and IT Production processes with relevant regulatory & internal controls and procedures.
- Maintain the security/reliability of RK systems & communication channels.
- Keep up-to-date and validate the internal installation and operating documentation.
- Handle the Non-Recording Incidents (NRI) under CIB ITO Production responsibility and contribute to identification and resolution of the root causes of incidents
- Manage a team of business analysts, engineers, and system experts and organize the successful completion of its work, manage human resources, manage available resources in accordance with schedules & budgets, promote the team’s work and pass on information.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Functional and technical knowledge on channels and record keeping solutions.
- IT Production processes & resiliency procedures
- Knowledge of new technological stacks (Elastic Search, Grafana, Promotheus, Dynatrace …)
- Service Management production tools (ITSM) & ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) methodologies
- IT Risks and Cybersecurity
- Budget and financial analysis knowledge
- Program/Project management methodology
- Management of IT tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, planner, etc.
- Promote team and cross-entity work.
- Strong communication and organizational skills and knowledge of IT services
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as IT manager on large transversal projects
- Experience of working with Senior IT leadership and committees.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $195,000 to $245,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
