About the job
- Brokerage & Transaction Fees core purpose is to identify and optimize global brokerage‑fee expenses, driving cost efficiency across the firm. The team supports every relevant stakeholder by continuously monitoring and managing transversal brokerage‑fee relationships
- Brokerage & Transaction Fees has incorporated and restructured a Business Support Team (BAU‑PT). Its mandate is to analyze, clean, develop and populate the new rate‑card storage system – Brokk – which will replace IBIS, fostering compliance and robustness of the brokerage population and its rates
- As a transversal liaison within the brokerage ecosystem, BTF‑PT is responsible for developing a suite of new tools for global fees, the flagship of which is a centralized, up‑to‑date fee‑information dashboard for transaction fees. Primary audience: Brokerage, with additional visibility on other transaction‑fee categories. Design: Compartmentalized to address distinct query types; a flexible, multilingual layout adapts to the diverse needs of stakeholders. Impact: Serves as the primary data source for multiple standardized reports and trading tools, further enabling cost‑optimization across the organization
Your Main Activities Are
- The objective of the position is to drive automation, industrialization and modernization of the processes and tools used for relationship management
- Identify manual, repetitive tasks across the organization
- Lead automation solutions that go beyond Excel, ensuring they are scalable and sustainable
- The automation work will be transversal, covering team responsibilities such as controls, rate card management and commercial initiatives
- Develop & maintain end to end automated Excel models – design robust spreadsheets that integrate data sources, perform calculations and deliver actionable outputs without manual intervention
- Explore AI driven opportunities – research and evaluate how artificial intelligence technologies can further streamline workflows and generate actionable insights
- Ensure accessibility and sustainability of all initiatives – deliver hands on training, produce clear user guides and standard operating procedures, and act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and best practice adoption
Profile and Skills to Success
- Academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar areas
- An overall understanding and interest in the financial world
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
- Teamwork skills while being able to work autonomously
- Creativity and innovation mind set, and AI awareness
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and organisational skills
- Good Excel knowledge and Power BI
- Python and other IT coding Skills – (Intermediate)
- Excellent communication skills and client focus
