About the job
As a SharePoint & Web Applications Developer, you will collaborate with end-users to design, develop, and maintain web applications and digital workplace solutions that enhance productivity, collaboration, and workflow efficiency. Your role will bridge technical expertise with business needs, ensuring scalable and user-centric solutions.
Your Main Activities Are
- Solution Design & Development
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications for SharePoint sites and custom web applications
- Design and build responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Python
- Develop and customize Microsoft 365/SharePoint solutions (e.g., lists, libraries, workflows) to streamline processes
- Integration
- Ensure seamless data exchange between applications using RESTful APIs
- Agile Delivery & Collaboration
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver iterative solutions, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct demos and training sessions for end-users to gather feedback and ensure adoption
- Continuous Improvement
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose optimizations
- Stay updated on Microsoft 365 updates, web development trends, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven workflows, low-code tools)
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role
- Front-end development: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Microsoft 365 Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online/On-Premises
- APIs & Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON
- Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Strong communication and presentation skills (ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences)
- Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-cultural, global teams
- Problem-solving attitude and passion for delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions
