ABOUT THE JOB
MISSION
As a Trade Finance Operations Analyst, you will ensure client requests are handled accurately and promptly, support Front‑Office deal booking, and guarantee compliance with credit, legal and regulatory standards. Your work safeguards the integrity of LC and documentary collection processes, directly contributing to the bank’s trade‑finance excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process client requests for LCs and documentary collections, meeting agreed‑upon timelines.
- Advise clients and corporate groups on technical aspects of commercial LCs and documentary products.
- Coordinate with Front‑Office and Centralised Back‑Office in India to book and process deals.
- Verify that all Credit Risk, Compliance and Legal approvals are in place before execution.
- Monitor transactions for conformity with UCP 600/ISP98, client instructions and internal procedures.
- Escalate unusual or complex cases to management for review and decision.
REQUIREMENTS
Studies
- Bachelor degree in Audit or Finance
Experience
- A good understanding of Documentary products and specific regulation (UCP, ISP, URR, ISBP, URC…)
- Knowledge of general accounting rules, mastering specific accounting rules for documentary products
- Systems and processes: Word/Excel, SWIFT
Languages
- English (advanced)
SKILLS
Technical
- MS Office Word/Excel, SWIFT
Transversal & Behavioral
- Strong interpersonal relationships skills
- Strong control background and ability to question and challenge the information received.
- Good knowledge of Business organization
