About BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking in Mexico
BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking has had a representation office in Mexico since 1966. Since then BNP Paribas has played an important role in financing Mexico’s development into the 21st century. BNP Paribas was one of the founders of Banco Nacional de Mexico (Banamex), one of Mexico’s largest banks, at the end of the 19th century, and stayed as a minority shareholder until the nationalization of the banking system in 1982. BNP was first established in Mexico more than half a century ago also acting as an important shareholder in Banco del Atlántico until 1982
BNP Paribas Mexico is expanding and has started operating in 2021 a full-fledged Mexican bank to better serve its clients through local operations performing local and global markets activities. Operations out of BNP Paribas Mexico include in particular trading and market making activities on interest rate derivatives, forex (spot and forward), bonds, repos and reverse repos on MBonos, UDI and Bonos. The coverage activities focusing on Mexican corporate and institutional clients will remain and expand.

Responsibilities
Comply with all applicable regulations (local or those defined by Group) and BNPP internal policies, this includes but is not limited to Financial Security, Know Your Client/Costumer/Supplier, Due Diligence, Client Interest Protection, Market Integrity, Professional Ethics and Respect for colleagues.

Workplace & Corporate Services
- Management of the agenda and executive calendar of senior management: It involves organizing and prioritizing meetings, appointments and key events. This requires anticipating potential schedule conflicts and unforeseen changes, maintaining constant communication with everyone involved, considering different time zones.
- Coordination of high-level meetings: logistical preparation, such as the reservation of rooms, the provision of technological resources and the distribution of relevant documentation.
- Coordination of corporate travel: including booking flights, accommodation and transportation, as well as preparing detailed itineraries.
- Handling confidential information: Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information is essential in this role.

- Coordination of transport services (drivers)
- Travel Management (Coordination of services with the contracted agency to ensure adherence to policy)
- Ensure compliance with visitor protocol
- Supervision of good office conditions (facilities, furniture and equipment
- Support in the development of projects in the area: This may include the organization of corporate events or the implementation of new software tools

Competences and Experience
* Good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
* Energetic, flexible and industrious self-motivated
* Experience within a multicultural environment
* Strong capability in planning and managing a wide variety of initiatives and concurrent priorities to produce high quality deliverables within established timelines.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
* Strong written and interpersonal communications skills
Financial SecurityKnowledge: must have a clear understanding of BNPP Group policies and requirements, and their own obligations under these standards. This includes ensuring that they understand the regulatory and Group requirements in relation to Financial Security, both are a general level, and specifically related to their role.
