Job Title:  Vice President – Strategy & Transformation
Department:  CEFS Strategy & Transformation

Location:  Mumbai / Bangalore
Experience Level: 15+ Years

Role Purpose

The individual will be responsible for leading high-priority transformation and change programmes that drive organizational change. They must be a seasoned professional with first-hand experience in external consulting or inhouse transformation, specifically for CIB Operations. The successful candidate will independently manage complex programs with senior stakeholders, ensuring that programme delivery is measurable, timely and value accretive.

Key Responsibilities

  • ProgrammeLeadership: Independently lead and execute end-to-end transformation programs,covering the entire spectrum ofideation, deep numericalanalysisand designthinking, to stakeholder validation,implementationand value realization.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive roadmaps and frameworks to address complex business challenges and operational inefficiencies.
  • Executive Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for senior leadership; synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and present recommendations to the Executive Committee/Steering Committees.
  • Multi-Program Management: Simultaneouslyrunmultiple workstreamsindependently, ensuring synchronization across different departments and managing dependencies to prevent bottlenecks.Prioritizationofdeliverables and tasks is a critical skill set.
  • Presentation &Articulation :Create the analysis and solution documents, presentations and articulate the complex storytelling to senior stakeholders,in order toget buy in and complete deliverables on time. StrongPowerPoint, PowerBIandExcelskills.
  • Tangible Value Delivery: Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics tracked on a weekly basis todemonstratethe tangible financial and operational impact of transformation efforts.
  • Stakeholder Management: Navigate complex organizational structures to gain buy-in, manage resistance to change, and foster collaboration across diverse business lines.

Required Skillset & Qualifications

Experience:

  • Professional Background: Minimum of 15+ years ofexperience, with a significant tenure in a top-tier management consultingfirmorinhousetransformation team. ProvenCIB Operations experiencerequired.
  • Track Record: Demonstratedhistory of delivering transformationor consultingprojects that resulted in measurable value.

Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Analytical Ability: Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including advanced excel pivots,macrosand dataanalysisabilities.
  • DesignThinking :Ability toconvertcomplex problems into structured frameworks.Ability to ideate solutions independently forproposalto senior stakeholders. Ability to convert ideation into solution design and implement it.
  • AI and TechnologyExperience:Ability to ideate and integrate AI,automationand technology solutions into each deliverable. AI experience preferred.
  • MultitaskingandDelivery :Ability todeliver totight deadlines on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Presentation Skills: Mastery of executive-level storytelling. Ability to create high-impact presentations that distill complex information for senior leadership.
  • Independence: A self-starter capable of operating with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of deliverables frominceptionto completion.
  • Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Attributes

  •  Minimum of 15+ years of experience, with a significant tenure in a top-tier management consulting firm orinhousetransformation team.
  • Proven CIB Operations experiencerequired.
  • Strong understanding of CIBOperations,Transformationor Change Management.
  • MBA from a leading institution. 
  • Ability to remain agile andperformin a fast-paced environment.
