Role

Prime Trading provides a quick and convenient way to gain access to various APAC markets. Clients can choose to access widely recognized benchmarks through listed, index, sector swaps, and single stock or customize a basket based on specific constituents and weightings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- This is a trading assistant role where the individual is required to work closely with the APAC Trading desk within Prime Services, developing an understanding of the front to back of the business.

- Assist Prime Trading desk with SOD and EOD risk monitoring tasks at and perform P&L analysis for the trading book.

- Engage with different teams (IT, Operations, Finance) within BNP Paribas to work on projects to improve business profitability and efficiency

- Develop solutions using Python/VBA for day to day tasks to reduce manual effort

- Understand various products like Equity Swaps / Collateral swaps / Futures and Options

- Dealing with various Corporate action events tracking stock delta 

- Assist the Trading Desk with critical trade bookings
